I booked the £39 Spa Day. Booking was easy and straightforward. On arrival at the spa, we were shown round by friendly staff. Facilities were limited as the steam room was out of order and we were not interested in the gym.
We had to ask for our robes, towels and slippers as well as refreshments, as they were were not offered on arrival and we didn't realise we needed to arrange them ourselves. Refreshments were tasty, once we had been given them.
The spa treatments were excellent. Staff were helpful, informative and professional during the treatments.
Overall good value for money.
Got to the hotel, our booking had been sent via last minute but no one had booked it in. We had to wait for quite a while whilst they figured it out. They then were meant to book in dinner. When we turned up there they said there was no booking. When we ordered our dinner, half the order didn't turn up. We were meant to get prosecco with our meal/part of the package, we didn't get it. We didn't get a robe/towel with the spa. My treatment was rushed as they didn't have anyone free however, my boyfriend enjoyed his. They were decorating outside of over room both days & on one occasion in the middle of the day 3 men walked into our room to have a look for redecoration. It was a shame as it is a lovely place, amazing views with some nice pubs around it but it felt like everything was rushed .
Was a very relaxing get away. Staff was really nice. We enjoyed a facial and a massage.
