It was a really nice hotel in Bromley Cross. A bit in the middle of nowhere, we didn't drive so it was a little difficult to find but on 15/20min walk to the train station. Only 28mins from Manchester. The Staff were lovely and helpful the breakfast buffet was really tasty. The spa facilities were really good the Gym had decent equipment it's quite a small room but it all worked. the pool is nice and only 1.2m deep which is great for me.
I had a Spa Brush up followed by a Full body massage. it was very relaxing but I probably wouldn't pay for it again. I'd need something a bit more intensive as it just felt like a standard back rub.
Overall we really liked it there. Very pleasant getaway.
What a lovely hotel. The cobbles made it seem very quaint and special and the food was lovely. The spa was very good and the treatments were good too. I had the luxury pedicure and it was nice. We also had breakfast which was nice. This was a very good deal and we would definitely go back again!
Hi there. I went to the hotel with my daughter and we were on the Spa Reviver deal. The hotel was lovely and the spa pool overlooked the Pennine Hills and opened onto outside (it was partly outside!) The saunas, steams and facilities were fab and the therapists were lovely. The cobbles around the hotel gave it a lovely feel and the food was excellent. This was a very good deal and worth the money. We would definitely go back again and have different treatments at the hotel.
A very nice hotel with excellent spa facilities. The Spa Reviver package worked brilliantly as we got treatments, breakfast and dinner (and of course a room to sleep in!) The facial was excellent and the massage was good, but could have been a bit firmer - ask for firmer if this is what you like!! I would definitely go back and on this deal.
Our room, 3 course dinner, breakfast and beauty treatments were all lovely, however, the steam room on the Sunday morning wasn't hot so that was disappointing. The hotel itself has a lovely charm and character to it and the service during our dinner and breakfast was spot on.
