Absolutely perfect spa break. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone. Great value for money. Treatments were brilliant and outdoor hot tubs were the best part!
Came here for our wedding anniversary with my husband for 2 nights and we have nothing but positive comments for this place. Driving into the place was already breathtaking as we were faced with a beautiful mansion style hotel. Parking was very convenient and we were pleasantly surprised with the size of our room which was beautifully decorated. The staff were so helpful and friendly all throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the food, from breakfast, tea and dinner. Everything was so delicately prepared and the taste was beautiful (would definitely recommend the sirloin steak). The walk to the spa was only a short one and we enjoyed spending our day using the facilities and ending it with a wonderful swedish massage. We were able to spend time in the relaxation room which really did allow us to relax. We will definitely be considering another visit.
A lovely hotel in rural location, very attentive staff in the restaurant and bar areas. The cleanliness of the changing rooms in the leisure complex was disappointing mud on floor and lots of hair. It wasn't the cleanest around the pool area either. Definitely needed flip-flops to wear in the changing room/shower.
That even if you spend the extra pounds you may not get a good service. Disappointed with the staff friendliness, damaged goods in room, twin beds rather than the stated queen
Sized, facial consisted of back massage?, no room
In the spa to complete pre assessment forms, times given of treatments, two small bottles of champagne that was cheap rather than one bottle. Only good thing was staff in restaurant and the food and drink. I will be putting a full review online as I am quite a fair person. But this place ruined my partners 30th for me!
VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY BUT WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED TO PAY MORE FOR THE DAY. LEFT COMPLETELY TO FIND THINGS FOR OURSELVES WITH NO REAL INFORMATION. WOULD NOT HAVE GOT THE TAKE HOME PRODUCT IF WE HADN'T ASKED FOR IT AND DID NOT HAVE 55 MIN FACIALS, MORE LIKE 40 MIN BUT FOR THE PRICE IT WAS GOOD. ASKED FOR SEPARATE TREATMENT ROOMS AND BOTH MY FRIEND AND I WERE PUT IN THE SAME ROOM WHICH WAS NOT AS RELAXING AS TWO THERAPISTS WERE MAKING NOISE WITH BOTTLES ETC AND I HAD THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY WERE COMMUNICATING WITH EACH OTHER IN WHISPERS/ACTIONS
