Overall the 2 night spa break was relaxing and enjoyable but a review of a view factors would make it excellent. The spa and treatments were fabulous the only thing to make it better would be the initial arrival at the gym/spa as it was basically left to the visitor to find there way around; even after asking you could tell no-one really had the time to explain things in detail. Other than that I really enjoyed the spa and facilities.
The hotel on the other hand needs some work both on cleanliness and customer service. Both Amber, the receptionist and the manager, were extremely helpful and attentive but the rest of the staff were all very young and I feel needed a bit more guidance. The food in the restaurant was delicious but the slow service let it down - an hour between courses! I heard other people complain about the service but the response was that the restaurant was extremely busy even though it was no more than a quarter full!!
The bar area in particular needs a good clean - the lamps over the bar are filthy; I was tempted to get a cloth and clean them myself. The garden has the potential to be beautiful but the flowers are scarce and need some t.l.c.
Even after the above I would still visit again but feel the venue has the potential to be amazing with a bit of work.
Staff at the Hotel were good. Staff at the spa didn't really give good customer service (the exception being the Maintenance Staff who seemed very friendly!).

It's me on the defensive before my treatment begins. Nevertheless, once payment was resolved the service provided by Heather was lovely. Nice and relaxing
We had a fab 2 night break which was really good value and included 55 min facial, afternoon tea one day and evening meal on the other. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definetly recommend a stay.
It's a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. The grounds were very relaxing and interesting. The staff were superb, always helpful and friendly. We stayed for a spa break with meals included. Breakfast was very good but dinner was a little disappointing. Afternoon tea was pleasant and very generous!
One or two niggles - the hotel interior and fittings were beautiful, modern and chic but let down a little by tired looking carpets. Also, we didn't mind the short walk to the spa in the grounds but not wanting to walk in our dressing gowns a bag supplied by the hotel would have been helpful.
