Was all lovely
from the moment we arrived ,it was wonderful. the staff were very pleasant, the room was spacious and very clean. the spa was what my and I really enjoyed and needed, the girl that I had was very good and attentive, though I squirmed a bit, I had a lot of knots on my shoulder area. the lady recommends I have a massage more often, at least once a month. the restaurant and the dinner were marvellous. nothing was to much for any of the staff. we were extremely pleased with everything we willcertainly be going back to a ballantynes hotel
The hotel was amazing, lovey room, lovey staff and great food. It was well worth the money however the spa was at the health club which was more of a leisure centre so you were mixed with day to day gym goers which was a bit strange walking around in your rose amongst the evening gym croud. The reception staff also were a bit rude which also ruined it. I would recommend the hotel but no the spa access.
The Food was not as good as when we have come previously and staff were not as warm or helpful as previously, not sure if this was just an end of summer season vibe.
Hotel was fantastic and food was gorgeous. Staff really made our stay special. Howver this should not be advertised as a spa hotel, it is a wonderful hotel with a health club down the road. We spent 2 hours in the 'spa' facilities which was more than enough, one small swimming pool, jacuzzi to fit 10, a sauna and steam room, along with two outside hot tubs which weren't working. The spa treatments themselves were fantastic and left us feeling relaxed.
