Food and staff good. Rooms could do with being updated although some of the charm of the hotel is it's age. Massage was fab.
Lovely venue and massage was amazing! Would thoroughly recommend for a half day spa. Staff were all very helpful and the day was organised very well. Thanks.
So disappointed I did complain but they said that they were not responsible. It was very poor no papers magazines 2 tables and 4 beds and separate sauna the facility was no better than a public swimming pool
Treatment fine
Lovely Hotel, superb location, excellent food and a good choice of menu which changed daily. Room exceptional, obviously just been upgraded and was of a very high standard. All staff extremely helpful. Only observation was there could of been more staff on duty at the reception desk. Also leisure facilities i.e. swimming pool area does need upgrading somewhat. There weren't enough sunbeds (only 4) , and should also consider having some adults only times available as there were children in the pool.
Treatments in the Orchid Rooms were also of a high standard.
This is not a spa, its a hotel with a poxy gym and pool built onto it, everything is tiny, the sauna, the pool, the Jacuzzi had that many chemicals in it, it was impossible to sit in without your eyes watering.
Our lunch was a disaster, the sandwich bread was stale and the salad was placed on the crisps so they were soggy! The tuna was so fishy we dare not eat it (very dry).
The treatment rooms and pool etc. are separated so you have to walk amongst ordinary hotel guests, getting some strange looks during the voyage.
I would not recommend or visit again.
