Enjoyable time. More of a business hotel than a spa. Limited facilities. Hotel decor is quite dated. Although staff were very friendly and helpful. For the monies paid it was quite good value.
Brilliant value deal at this Hilton Bracknell. Food was exquisite and the service was fantastic. Couldn't recommend more. A VERY pleasant surprise given the good value of this weekend stay.
Avoid. This cannot be referred to as a spa break/pamper experience. It's basically a dodgy hotel which happens to have a pool/sauna/jacuzzi/gym attached. The pool was small and full of screaming kids and swimming classes, there was nowhere to sit by the pool and read, they'd run out of "fluffy" dressing gowns and slippers, the changing rooms were dirty... The therapists were running 20 minutes late so told us we could only have a 10 minute massage before their next appointment - which we obviously contested and just about squeezed 20 minutes out of them. All in all, it was a bit stressful and we couldn't wait to leave.
The experience was spoiled by a receptionist keeping us waiting for 40 mins for a twin room which turned out to be a double anyway. She said my credit card was invalid, in front of others at reception, when the booking was prepaid and she didn't even have my credit card details, and she did not apologise for her mistake.. The spa deal was to include a bottle of wine in the room and a fruit basket. We had to ask for both of these.
We had driven a long way on a very hot day for my daughter's spa birthday treat. The reception we received was very unwelcoming and downright rude. Especially having to sit in reception 40 mins . The spa facilities were good, although half the pool was being used for swimming lessons. The receptionist needs to complete a customer service course as she had no idea what her role was. The buffet was very good though, surprisingly.
Fantastic stay will go again. Staff friendly,food lovely.felt relaxed during our stay will definitely go to this venue again.Thank you for a great experience.far exceeded my expectations .I had in mind
