The whole experience was great. The package was great value for money and the therapist made me really at ease (first bikini wax)! I was particularly impressed with the eyebrow threading too as have never had this done before. My pedicure lasted for about a month too which was brilliant! The salon facilities were nice too.
Absolutely shocking! They were running late. The receptionist knew absolutely nothing, not even their own email address or how to direct me from one block away. I waited for an hour. Then got put into a grubby little room for a quick pedicure, then left to wait again. They were clearly massively overbooked and doing several clients in the same slot. I was then taken upstairs to have a brazillian wax. To save time they did my eyebrows threading at the same time. OUCH! I was then left - (Midway through the wax!!) in this empty room for about 45 minutes. eventually she came back, finished off, did a quick dermabrasion which I dont think was the full treatment. And then after all that and many discussions with the receptionist about my voucher they stopped me going out the door to check if I had paid, like I was trying to do a runner. It wasted my entire sunday and was terrible!!
I had the holiday tretment package which was meant to include a pedicure, eyebrow threading, microdermabrasion facial, and bikini wax.. I was REALLY disappointed. I was fifteen minutes late, called up as I was lost, and the receptionist said not to worry I can still get my treatments. When i got there I was told that because I was late I could not have my microdermabrasion facial! This made the cheap deal not so much of a great deal! I found the treatments slap dash too, my pedicure was average, I don't see how it was a 'luxury' pedicure, just what i can do for myself at home, my bikini wax was only on the sides. The threading was really good though, was pleased with the results, but still not worth going there when the facial would have been the most expensive element of the package. Overall, not great value for money in the end, and if they were trying to get new customers, they certainly failed with poor customer service.
I was one of three friends who came in on a mobdeal featuring 4 treatments and it proved good value for money. This establishment is very close to our flat and we were looking forward to experiencing what it had to offer seeing as we had recently moved into the area. However I felt that because it was known that we were on a mobdeal that we may not have had as good a service as customers paying full price. All of the treatments with the exception of the excellent eyebrow threading felt rushed. Luxury pedicure didn't have hardly any scrubbing/ hard skin removal, and the waxing missed bits.
I bout a Whaanda MOB deal that was a bikini wax, pedicure, eyebrow threading and a micro dermabrasion facial. They could not fit me in for the facial on teh same day as I called with short notice. I thought the therapist was great! a very good brazillian bikini wax, I would have preferred a real sloughing of hard skin on the pedicure like they do in the Oriental nail bars. I would go again for certain!! highly recommended but the only thing I would say that when I get a pedi I prefer more than just a foot scrub & a pumice tone etc I like a through job.
