Have been to this Crouch End salon twice and it is such great value for money. The facilities are nice, clean, airy, and they use dermalogica products amongst other options... The best thing is the value for money, the shiatsu massage I had here wasn't fancy but it was one of the best massages I had ever had and I had a full hour. The Columbian lady that has done the facials for me is so lovely and friendly and really takes care to give you advice and make sure you get what you want from your treatment. Their second salon does the best eyebrow threading around... and I have tried a lot! All really friendly, nice and relaxed I can't wait for my next treatment!
i went for the half eyelash porcedeure, the salon were quick and professional and clean with a lovely ambeiance. Its a great job as i still have them 6 weeks later. i would go back again. over all i am very happy with my treatment.
I booked a 2-4-1 massage as a birthday gift for my partner's birthday. I was under the impression that we would both be have our full body massages side by side ......well my partner had a warm cosy room with scented candles ( so he was content & happy with massage ) , I had a poky, freezing room, with no heating, my skin was cold to the touch !!!! The therapist could barely get round the masage bed with ease ... hence to say this was not value for money nor a two for one !!!! Will not be returning to Beauty Works !
Well located salon, with lovely decor, therapist was very attentive and helpful, advised that a one off wrap would not be beneficial, but that I was more likely to need a few to get any real benefit, Sin felt lovely and smooth after wrap but no noticeable contouring as she said, I would definately go again to this particular salon
This was a body wrap but not the sort that I was expecting. Previously I have been wrapped around the torso with muddy bandages and put on an execise machine and each sesion has shown inch loss results. However, this was really a massage experience as the therapist kneaded in algae (or so I was told!) over my body and then clipped a heated plastic blanket thingy around my body while she massaged my head. I believe that this was a lighter version of their "proper" body wrap session which involves more time and clingfilm and is more expensive. The saving grace here though was the massage, which was of the powerful kneading kind all over my body and was really really good. I had a kind of sore and toxic head when I went in and it was the perfect remedy - I think that l kept falling asleep! Value was hard to assess as the Wahanda voucher makes such a dent in the price. With a voucher it was unbeatable value and I'd travel some distance for another massage like the one I had!
