My experience was absolutely amazing. From the time I entered the hotel I knew I was in for a treat, the decor was so stunning and the staff were very friendly. The afternoon tea was out of this world, I thought I would not be able to move once I had finished and that was before the deserts arrived. The choice was brilliant and oh so delicious. After afternoon tea I had a manicure, the treatment area was so relaxing and comfortable. I was offered a drink and there were fresh fruit and nuts available, although I couldn't physically eat anything else. The manicure was lovely and the therapist made it even more worthwhile. She was friendly, warm and just made me feel so comfortable. After the manicure I was left to relax, and was not rushed out of the area. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be visiting this hotel again.
Booking my appointment was very easy and my choice was available. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that due to a few groups we would have to do it in the sauna and jaquzzi rooms which was okay as they had a nice waiting area with chairs and magazines; which wa fine until two ladies came in to use the facilities and I felt a overdressed! The therapist brought me a drink and I choose my colour from a very large selection. The therapist returned and briefly filed my nails and then added colour and that was it finished in 15minutes! I used the other 15 minutes to wait for my nails to dry which was a treat and they looked beautiful. The lunch was faultless and beautiful with fresh local produce, exceptional with handmade chocolates and coffee to finish. The lunch was worth the price alone and the hotel is beautiful tip do not use the ladies in the spa as there is only one in the upboard sized changing room instead use the one on the first floor much larger with mouth wash! However the treatment was disappointing as it was not a mini manicure but simply a file and polish carried out on the knees of the beauticianas there was no space in the other area. They looked lovely but I was expecting more cuticle work and perhaps a mini massage with hand cream, yet the food is heavenly if you go go for this and see the manicure as an extra treat that way you wil not be disappointed.
This deal was brilliant. My Mum and I were able to sit on a comfy sofa with complimentary fruit, nuts and drinks available whilst two therapists gave us a good quality shape and polish mini manicure in our choice of colour. The beauty area is quite small and, as such, does not quite have the uber chic feel of some luxury spas. However, it has a lovely, classy charm and the staff are very friendly and proffessional. We had ample time to let the polish dry before heading to the stylish restaurant for a lovely two course lunch (which was delicious) with coffee included. My Mum had a cheeseboard to follow her main and was invited to help herself from a spectacular array of cheeses. The waiting staff were lovely and the whole experience was delightful. My Mum commented afterwards how nice it was that noone made us feel like second class guests because we were using the Wahanda voucher. I would definitely go back. This deal gets 10/10!
I visited this venue with a good friend of mine as a treat, leaving our babies at home with our husbands. The lunch was absolutely lovely, the food delicious, the staff great. The bar where we sat before lunch was also gorgeous, very well appointed and cosy. The manicure was quite good. We were offered complimentary drinks which was nice, but the actual manicures were performed in the lounge area of the spa facility which we thought was fairly strange. Granted there were no other people waiting, but it seemed odd all the same, that there was no dedicated manicure area for guests to enjoy their treatment. This was the only real let-down of the entire experience, aside from a rather lax attitude from one of the girls who 'prepped' my nails for the manicure (I felt she didn't take a great deal of care with cutting or filing my nails into a nice shape. Overall, the offer was excellent value though and we would definitely do it again!
I had bought the deal for 2 course lunch and a mini manicure for myself and my friend and It was so much fun, we both really enjoyed ourselves, It was just lovely. The hotel is very smart but the staff make you feel really welcomed. Our lunch was just great! We both made a slight change to our main course (we chose chicken but we didnt want the redwine jus) and they were happy to oblige with no fuss. In fact they made a fuss of us! The chef was on hand and he urged us to try everything and talked us through the buffet deserts and cheeses - all the staff were so nice, good attitude, nice food, and the manicure was lovely too, the only thing was that I didnt know that the mini manicure I had was done dry, so when the threapist pulled out my cuticles, it hurt, but the polish was beautiful with tons of colours to choose from. We really had a lovely time and it was due to the staff being so friendly and making us feel so welcomed with the service. Would definitely go again if they repeat this deal.
