I was happy with the spa day experience. The treatment was lovely and relaxing. Free drinks in the relaxation room too. The only negative I can say is I heard the reception staff talking badly about there colleagues which I thought was unprofessional in front of customers.
We visited the York spa and it was much better than expected - the pool was large and there were two jaccuzzis, two saunas and two steam rooms, more than at other spas we have visited. Large changing room with plenty of showers. The treatment rooms were very nice and the therapists very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the expert facial which also included a very nice back massage and was finished off with a scalp massage - all in all a very relaxing day, will definitely go back.
It was a great day out. Food in the café was basic but nice and not expensive, sometimes can feel ripped off in these places but not here. There was two Jacuzzi's and sauna's and steam rooms which was nice as otherwise you can spend a lot of time waiting around. The massage and scalp massage was lovely - it just never lasts long enough! would recommend.
Reception staff were polite and helpful. My friend and I got a double beauty room and had our treatments together, the facial and massage were excellent. Had a lovely lunch, which was very reasonably priced compared to others spas I have visited. Pool was a tad cool for me but the jacuzzi and steam/saunas were great. Spa day was brilliant, I would visit again.
Great facial and massage, very good value and will repeat if similar offer available again. A really relaxing and enjoyable experience.
