This was our second time at this spa. The treatments were perfect but the lack of the relaxation room that we used the previous year was a big disappointment.
Staff were welcoming on arrival, but it would have been nice to have a more comprehensive tour than 'there is the changing room' and being left to find my own way around. The facilities were limited, even more so when the children's swimming lessons started, which I had not been warned about on booking, when I called to book my treatments, when I was called to arrange my lunch order or on arrival at the spa. As the lessons were scheduled between 12 and 4pm it severely limited access to the pool and pool area, leaving only the reception area to sit and relax.
The lunch was delicious, and Genevieve ensured I had plenty to drink.
The treatments were excellent. The massage was relaxing, although it would have been nice if the therapist had worked a little deeper on the obvious tension around my shoulder blades. The facial was equally relaxing, and the skilled application of high quality products left my skin feeling soft and refreshed.
Good friendly evironment to stay. Staff are eager to go the extra yard and do every possible to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Me and my boyfriend got the overnight spa package for my birthday. I had never had a massage before however, the staff were lovely and the massage was amazing. A 3 course meal was also included which was great value and very tasty. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Also our room was decorated to a very high standard and didn't feel like a standard room! Furthermore, the check out at 12pm suited me and my boyfriend as it gave us enough time to go and have breakfast at our own pace and no rushing was involved. I have already recommended your hotel to my friends and we hope to be back very soon! Could not fault a thing. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable.
I paid £49 for a spar experience to include refreshment on arrival. This was not offered.the massage was good but there was no where to sit by the pool so I had a shower and left .the changing area looked tired and all ready for a refurb .reallyI just had a massage for my money and a poor experience,would not do it again
