I got a Groupon voucher for acrylic extensions at Cyan so I went down to see if I could get seen there and then. I made my way down to Cyan and was greeted by Jody who seemed to be in quite a foul mood. I thought maybe it was because I had accidentally interrupted an appointment but when I went back to get my nails down her mood didn't change, her demeanour was less than satisfactory and she was quite rude. I attempted to make conversation but was shot down every time. What's more my nails didn't last very long either, a week at most. Safe to say I won't be seeing her again!
Don't let this put you off Cyan all together, the other two girls are really nice, Jody just wasn't pleasant in the slightest.
Although this voucher was bought when the business was at glo salon- Rachel was happy to accept it at her lovely new salon- cyan beauty studios in Jeffrey st. The salon is lovely. I have had hot stone massages from Rachel before and she excels- on this occasion though we had a different therapist who was very friendly and polite.
Since I bought this voucher the business has moved premises to a lovely new salon in Jeffrey St. Also they no longer use neals yard products so I was upgraded to a luxury hydro peptide facial. Rachel is very friendly and new salon lovely.
Rachel is polite and friendly and the treatment room is spacious, warm and welcoming. The full body hot stone massage was very relaxing and I had plenty of time to relax and get dressed at the end of the treatment without feeling rushed. I would definately recommend this treatment.
