Had a overnight stay in an executive room at this lovely hotel-overlooking the Mercedes Benz headquarters. The staff were very friendly, and the room was something else!!!!! The therapists were welcoming, helpful and highly professional. This was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend it highly.
My girlfriend and I went on 11th Feb 2011.
Check in wasnt helpful at all and even though we had confirmed the booking the previous day and gave the voucher number we was asked to pay for the room up front upon arrival. We questioned this and explained that we was part of the Wahunda deal and was told to show our voucher.
Once we got to our room which was lovely [view isnt that great and only one of each tea, coffee and hot chocolate and was very hot even with the air con on] we went up to have our spa treatment, again booked and confirmed the previous day.
Our booking wasnt in the book so we was again asked for our voucher and made to wait 30 minutes even though no one else was using the spa treatments.
The couples massage was very nice for me but my girlfriend wasnt that impressed. We then used the outside hot tub over looking the racing circuit which was very very nice!
During the night I was woken at 5am by a peice of paper being slid under our bedroom door. This was to advise us of our express check out facility which at 5am on a suposed relaxing spa break wasnt very professional.
Breakfast was very nice and the waiter was the most friendly and courteous person in the whole hotel.
Chekout was swift and sweet.
The Mercedez Benz world opposite the hotel is great to visit, a must of you like the old 60's Gull Wing Mercs on display!!!!
We would stay at the Brooklands hotel again, purely for the outside hot tub but we got the impression that as we was with a Wahnda deal, we wasnt very welcome.
Gaylords Indian restaurant in the high Street 5 minutes drive away is a must!
Hotel and facilities were excellent and very good value for money.
The treatments could have been better, especially the manicure, which was average.
Room was lovely and spacious, althogh the view- back of the hotel- was awful.
