The staff were wonderful here. The room was gorgeous and the bathroom luxurious. The treatments were brilliant although I did get a little cold in the room during my massage. The pool and the hot tub were my favourite places, especially when preceded by the steam room and accompanied by a glass of champagne! Thank you for a great two days.
What a fabulous hotel! Can't fault the service or rooms and the food was something really special. The spa whilst rather small was perfectly formed with everything that you would expect and the treatment totally hit the spot. Very enjoyable weekend had by the whole party, would definitely snap up another bargain deal.
I went to the spa with three girlfriends to celebrate a birthday for a day spa break with tea in the hotel. We did have a lovely afternoon. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The main criticism was the changing room was so cramped and resembled a sports locker room in a school. The gowns were tatty and two had no belts. It is a pity there is not more space to sit out to relax between treatments or bathing. It is a very cramped spa and fine if there are no more than half a dozen clients. On a busy weekend it would not be much fun. Tea was fantastic and we were well looked after. We had a lovely time though and would go back but during the week when it might not be so busy. I have spent a weekend at the hotel and that was a different experience as we could go back to our room to relax.
It was very relaxing experience, lovely hotel rooms and spa! The food included in the break was delicious but very small. The only thing I would say is it was extremely hot all the time in the spa but that probably can't be helped... Overall excellent.
Lovely warm spa, small but not over crowded ,very relaxing facial and brilliant afternoon tea, staff very helpful, would highly recommend.
