First of all, really lovely, friendly staff at this easy to find place. I love Caudalie products so was not disappointed with the massage. The therapist's technique was excellent and it was very relaxing. The treatment room is small but pretty. My only (small) issue was the noise - the treatment room is located below the shop floor and, even with reasonably loud music on, you can hear people walk and sometimes talk, which somewhat detracts from the relaxing experience. However, this is very minor in comparison to the overall great experience and I have already made another booking. Also liked the fact there was no continuous sales effort which you get at so many spas.
Highly disappointing. My feet would have gotten much more care if I instead spent the same money on a nice foot cream. When I arrived, something was wrong with the system and they could not find my booking. No apology and I was made to stand for 10 min while they looked for it. This was followed by whispers between the therapist and the receptionist trying to figure out what it is they are supposed to do. The therapist was a sweet girl but obviously a trainee who barely knew what she was doing. She removed some dry skin (no result visible) then rubbed some cheap fruit lotion into my feet (no massage whatsoever! that was the whole pedicure, about 10 min) and left to get her colleague who 'can paint my nails much faster'. The polish was then shabbily and unevenly applied. The only drink offered was water in a plastic cup, which the therapist later spilled and did not offer me another one. Horrible experience.
The salon is lovely and would get my highest rating. The staff are great, the location convenient for transport and shopping, the facial was amazing and very effective. However, I was only able to have one at second try! And this is a comment on Wahanda only, not Elemis. When I came for my appointment, which was booked and confirmed by Wahanda, there was no record of it! The staff were very apologetic, offered me a lovely free gift set and re-booked me, as well as assuring me they will sort out directly with Wahanda. When I did have my facial, it was above expectations and I really enjoyed it, but on this occasion service from this site was extremely disappointing.
standard salon, a bit messy and a bit noisy, but the stylist was amazing, great haircut, lots of attention to detail - i am very happy with the result and will definetely go back. great location near soho.
I went for a Moroccan oil facial and scalp treatment with use of steam room and tea. The spa itself is extremely beautiful, clean and elegant. The facilities are small but well appointed and decorated. The facial and scalp treatment were nice but quite short (about 15 minutes) and did not make a huge difference. I actually enjoyed the steam room much more. I was very disappointed with the staff though, as I would have expected better from a nice place like this. None of them seem to really care and the facial therapist seemed completely disinterested and kept sighing throughout the treatment, which was not very relaxing for me. I was also made to wait for 45 minutes for my facial and had to ask to use the steam room. When done, no one came to offer me tea and I had to go looking for a staff member to ask for this. Overall, noce spa but disappointing service.
Great location just off portobello road, easy to find. Good pedicure and a lovely coctail. Staff could be a bit friendlier, but otherwise excellent especially for the oofer price. Would come back.
Best salon ever. My absolute favourite both for the results and the ambiance. Great location too. A bit expensive but you can see and feel the difference. Great samples to take home every time.
The best facial I have ever had or could imagine. Just perfect in every respect - from lovely staff to tea and nibbles afterwards to baby-soft skin after and beautiful decor. No hard sell of products and a lovely gift to take home as well as a selection of samples. Would very happily return.
