This was probably one of the poorest hair experiences I have had as an adult.
The hair wash, over a very uncomfortable bowl, was short, light fingered and felt un-thorough; I also had to keep sitting up awkwardly to ensure my hair was washed at the nape of my neck, even though I pointed this out to the stylist. The conditioning treatment was barely there, and there was no scalp massage. The water was really too hot - not that I was asked.
The hair cut itself is - let's just say - shorter on one side that the other and reminds me of a shaggy dog, when what I'd asked for was 'sleek' and similar to what I'd entered with. The 'blow dry' with a hairdryer that sounded and felt as ineffectual as a 1970s Pifco, was appalling and would have left me in tears if I hadn't asked for it to be straightened immediately. This was so badly done, I had to ask a trainee to redo it after I'd visited the toilet and discovered kiss curls, untouched at the back.
In my opinion, Dario, who owns this salon, should be doing these cuts himself if he wishes his salon to remain credible. Instead of giving clients the opportunity of having their hair experimented on by a very young 'graduate' stylist. "Award Winning" a sign boasts outside? I don't think so. I will probably have to now pay somebody else much more to fix this.
