I was pleased with my experience at Smiths salon in battersea. Its in a good location and the staff are friendly. I was going to a wedding the next day and the stylist curled my hair after the cut which was really good. I would definitely go back.
I really love Stepping Stones. The treatments offered are great and good value for money. In terms of the massage this is one of the best ones I have ever had. The massage room has a nice ambience and soft music playing which makes you relaxed before the treatment even starts. The therapist asks where you have problem areas and works on them. I came out feeling really relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you.
I chose this salon because the reviews seemed good and the haircut and colour seemed like value for money so I was expecting something good. I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment as was specified in the instructions. I could see the one hairdresser there was already attending to two girls having their hair dyed so I waited. At 45 minutes later I became concerned about when I would be seen - I spoke to the receptionist who said I would be seen soon. It turned out I had been double booked even though I was told to come at that time the day before. The one hairdresser spent the next 2 hours attending to cuts and colours for three people at once meaning I ended up being in there for three hours in total, and Im sure this was stressful for him. My observations were that a girl having her hair bleached was left with half cm roots which when she questioned the hairdresser about he said you cant put bleach near the scalp as it creates patches (he said bleach leaks from the foils) - she did not seem very happy about this. The other girl had an ash blonde colour which looked grey and she didn't seem that happy either but I could be wrong. I was pleased with my colour in the end which was a full head of one colour- this came out fine. When deciding what to have done I was informed that I couldn't have highlights because my hair was too dark (its dark brown). I can only conclude this person is making things up as he goes along. He also said I couldn't have longer layers in my hair (which I wanted) as it wouldn't look right so I ended up with very small 1 inch ones (I have had layers many times before at many varying lengths). When I asked him to chop into them at the end to make them softer I got the impression he wasn't keen on doing this. I wanted to be pleased with my experience at this salon but the amount of time spent there (3 hours), the fact I was double booked etc mean I am unable to give a good review unfortunately. Also customer service such as taking my coat, or giving something to read whilst waiting a long time whilst having my hair dyed was missing.
A friend and I visited the spa and had a lovely afternoon. We started with a half hour massage which was very relaxing and it was great to enjoy nice tea and snacks in the relaxation room afterwards. The spa is reasonably small but we enjoyed it none the less. Overall the quality of the facilities at Spa Verta are very high, the place is clean and the service very good. I would definitely visit again.
I was happy with the location of this salon as it is near my work in St James' Park, very convenient. I booked a hair cut with moroccan oil treatment. I found the salon to be ok in terms of facilities and ambience, the staff were quite friendly. It was nice to be offered a glass of wine (although I just wanted water!). The offer made the haircut good value but I would not go back at the full price I don't think. The Moroccan oil is a few drops put through the hair I think when drying which is meant to make it more glossy which I guess it was.
The location of this salon is very convenient, being a 5/10 minute walk from Ealing Broadway Tube station, and is easy to find, just off the main high street. The staff/therapist was friendly and put me at ease, especially as I was having a style of CI I was not aware of before. In terms of the treatment, I would recommend this method for colonic irrigation as it is self-directed rather than with a therapist. It is very different to the usual method but results are quicker and more effective, which I was very impressed with. I would say it is not for everyone though as you have to be comfortable with doing it yourself with assistance from the therapist where neccessary. With the Wahanda deal of £39 it is very good value and I plan to go back there again for future treatments. Recommended.
I thoroughly enjoyed my very relaxing reiki treatment. Stepping Stones is in a convenient location in Clapham, with nice staff and good facilities. My treatment was carried out by Hilary, who is a very friendly lady. She talked me through what would happen beforehand and put me at ease. I felt very chilled out during the session as well as afterwards, which lasted for a few days. I have also been back for two more reiki sessions so far to remove blocked energy and revitalise me. I am pleased I have ound stepping stones and am well able to afford their reasonable prices.
I liked my floatation experience. It was relaxing and I came out feeling refreshed. I have used floatation tanks before and am not so keen on pods as they can feel a bit claustrophobic but the experience was still good. The faciliites are ok also, but a little basic. Overall good.
I had a reiki session for a second time and was as equally as happy as the first time. My practitioner, Hilary is such a friendly, calming person who puts you at ease immediately. I beleive reiki can have great effects on your wellbeing, which has happened to me since I started having it. I find it relaxing at the time and directly after, and energising the days after. I would reccomend the treatment, but also Stepping Stones, which is a nice salon. The full price for reiki is only £30, meaning you can have it regularily if you wish. Highly recommended.
