Alison's always very professional and great at waxing! Highly recommended and really good value for money. A real find in Chalk Farm!

I've been going to Alison for a while now and she is honestly the best person at waxing ever! Not only does she do a completely thorough job, she is highly professional and so lovely and chatty, it's always a pleasure to see her. I highly recommend her waxing and it is great value for money, she's amazing!

I visited Strip for a wax and it really was a fabulous experience. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My therapist was lovely - really friendly and smiley and professional and made me feel at ease. The treatment room was spotlessly clean and smelled divine - I was in the chocolate room. The treatment itself was excellent and pain-free. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it as it takes the pain and fear out of the whole waxing experience!

I took up the great offer of £89 for a brazilian blow dry. I've had a few of these before so knew what to expect and also what to compare it with.

The salon itself is trendy, clean, if a little 'cold' and the staff were friendly enough but kept me waiting a while. The guy doing the treatment - Ramonas - was friendly but started to try and sell me the shampoo and conditioner as soon as I'd sat down in the chair! which I found a bit pushy and off putting.

I was amazed at how little product he put on my hair for the treatment - usually with this treatment, hairdressers are very generous with how much they 'paint ' on your hair but this time it felt like he'd been allocated a tiny amount to do my whole head and it really didn't seem to be coating all my hair. Four weeks on and my hair is dull and lank - although the frizz is better, it has no shine and lustre, and looks constantly like it needs washing, despite using the recommended products. I'm not sure if this is due to the treatment, the application or just a coincidence, but I'd probably go back to my normal salon in future to have this done.

The place is very odd - feels a bit like sitting in a Soho shop window surrounded by lingerie whilst you wait for your therapist. Mine was running 10 mins late and there was no apology for this, which was annoying. I was looking forward to choosing what flavour wax I wanted, so was disappointed to be led to the 'berry room' and told I was having the berry wax, without any choice. The room seemed clean but I was horrified to find someone else's pubic hair stuck to my foot halfway through the treatment. There was a movie on in the background which I found odd and was not given the option of turning it off. This wax is not for the faint hearted! It was very thorough, but painful at times and the therapist was very heavy handed. I regularly have hot wax but hadn't experienced discomfort like I did this time. The head massage was a complete waste of time and money, and I did not appreciate the hard sales push of after care products at the end of the treatment, the therapist was very pushy, verging on aggressive, to try and get me to buy products. A good wax, but disappointing overall experience.
