The Rossiter System description

Release that tension. When it falls under stress, the connective tissue in our bodies can shorten and thicken – leaving us with soreness, aches and pains. For many people, a good night’s sleep is enough to return the connective tissue to normal – but there’s no need to despair if you’re one of those who needs a little extra help. The Rossiter System uses stretches to lengthen the connective tissue, putting an end to aches and pains – great news if you’re sick of suffering.

How does it work?

This pain relieving technique is taught in the form of workshops run by Certified Rossiter Coaches, and comprises a variety of stretches designed to reduce muscular pain and tightness. Stretches are generally performed as a pair, with the coach ‘anchoring’ the client as they move. Now that's what we call teamwork...

There are over thirty techniques which make up the Rossiter System – these target specific areas on the body, from head to toe. During a workshop or workout session, your coach will explain how to perform these stretches as well as physically assisting you – hopefully helping the pain to melt away.

The benefits of a Rossiter System session can usually be felt 20-30 minutes after finishing – you should find you feel less pain and are able to move with greater flexibility.

Good to know

The Rossiter system was developed in 1990 by Richard Rossiter, who wanted a solution to his own chronic shoulder, arm and neck pain.
