The facial and massage that my friend and I had was absolutely lovely - couldn't fault that. However, this should not be advertised as a 'spa day.' The spa offered only a small sauna and steam room and a gym. There was no pool, or other facilities to use. The package advertises that you can use the spa facilities for an hour before and after your treatment - the only option would be 2 hours in the sauna and steam room which I doubt anyone would want to do! I would come again for a treatment but did not feel I got my money's worth for the overall spa day package.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time. The Back, shoulder and neck massage was nice, felt very much like a deep tissue massage. The benefits from our stay was having the treatment in the same room, sauna and steam room shared, the swimming pool area was beautiful, had a very calming atmosphere- very relaxing and the two course meal with bottle of wine in the evening just made it extra special as well as the brilliant breakfast buffet in the morning.
The hotel is located in a great area not far from Winnersh triangle station (5min) walk maximum! And it's a lovely quite area, definitely feels like a getaway if your use to a busy life style.
The room was a standard double but nice and cosy just what we needed, on the 4th floor. It was well decorated, clean and stylish.
We ordered room service and had lunch - this was also great and delious food! The was WiFi at a rate but we never used.
Overall we had a great one night stay in this 4* holiday Inn and was pleasantly suprised with its standards and service. We will definitely return again. Thank you again Holiday Inn for making us feel welcome.

Excellent hotel and great stay.
The food in particular was superb! I would highly recommend the Clarendon restaurant for dinner, ample menus and choice, all the food is of superb quality from start to finish. Truly home made using fresh fine ingredients makes all the difference. Expertly presented with a lot of care and attention.
The afternoon tea offered a great selection of sandwiches and cakes, more than enough to satisfy. Prosecco & Champagne are served by the glass in the lounge bar, which makes a nice addition to the tea if you fancy.
The spa facilities are lovely, clean and modern, the only thing missing is a jacuzzi which would have been the icing on the cake.
The treatments are a must, the spa is calming, relaxing and welcoming, with a separate relaxation room and the treatments art spot on.
We upgraded our room, which came with a very welcome late check out, stocked mini bar, tea / coffee robes. Separate walk in shower and bath, all very modern, clean and tidy.
We found all the staff to be courteous, kind and extremely helpful.
I would certainly return and recommend this break to others
I went for a Fire & Ice Spa Day Experience for Two and have awarded it 4 stars.
