I was looking forward to my herbal compress massage last Friday only to arrive to the venue and be told that the lady who was to do the massage was on holiday and the current person massaging me had not checked what type of massage I booked and the herb infusion would take them an hour to prepare. At which point I was offered an aroma massage with essential oils. Being an aromatherapist myself, I was horrified of the fact that 1:the oils were poor quality and 2: most of the oils proposed where photo toxic therefore not really ideal to use on a sunny hot day. I mentioned that to the lady and she laughs saying she does not know anything about the oils and she does not want to study as its too expensive. I,however, gave the massage a go only with a carrier oil but the oil they used was cheap sunflower oil. I had to shower the minute I got home as they used way too much of it and I felt like a tuna in a can of oil! The lady had an apprentice with her who massaged my legs and they kept talking in their native language the whole time and felt the place was not clean. At the end of the massage, I felt much more tense then when I walked in and my back has been in pain for 2 days now. I love trying new things and I do not give bad reviews unless it is really a disaster!
Much nicer than it may appear from the outside. Booked very last minute. The waiting area had a pleasant surprise. I was pleased to be offered a cupboard to stash clothes rather than just being expected to leave everything on a chair like some more expensive venues do. I had the half-hour herbal compress massage and was slightly surprised that it wasn't used throughout, but every part of the massage was professional and I left wishing I'd had time to book a longer session.

This was my first introduction to hot herbal compress massage and its safe to say Im converted! Lydia the therapist is excellent both in practical skill and manner. The atmosphere in treatment room is cosy and I relaxed instantly. As a massage therapist myself taking part in martial arts, this treatment was ideal for my muscles. Highly recommended!
I'd never had a herbal compress massage before, but now after having it I would definitely recommend. I've been to Licet before for massage and she's brilliant, will book with her again in the near future :)
Went to the salon which is in a house plenty of parking . The lady was welcoming and the room was warm. The compress was soothing and the massage was good with lots of pressure applied.
