I am disgusted at having just left the Oxford store and being insulted and left feeling bullied by a member of staff there called Vera, (Acting Manager) .

I encountered the worst customer service experience I have had in my life.

When I went back to get my free trial lenses- alarmingly - the 'acting manager' Vera accused me of lying and wouldnt give me all the boxes saying that I already had received these lenses, which I hadnt, even though she had incorrectly entered into the system that I had. Rather than admit her mistake or that she she insulted me further by shouting at me in front of all the customers and staff present saying that I had come back twice to get free lenses.

When I said I was never coming back to the store, she tried to take the lenses off me. Which I then took back from her.

It was an immensly humiliating experience and I cannot believe that a large company like Optical Express would let someone with obviously so little customer service skills who does not understand British people and also made so many mistakes with my records become an 'Acting manager'.

It is especially a shame as the other members of staff there were very kind and sympathetic when I went back for the head office number
