If I could give 0 stars I would have. Had an appointment for 2pm walked there followed google maps to the postcode location there was no salon anywhere in the vacinity this is obviously a scam business I'm so happy I didn't chose to pay by card! I rang the number at 1.50pm because there is no salon where it is suposto be and the woman was shocked I rang her saying she isn't taking bookings at the moment she was not informed of me making a booking through the app which is she responsibility to check her bookings or temporarily take "booking" options off the site. This was after I got a confirmation email the day previous and also a confirmation text that morning. As I said if I paid by card my bank account would properly be emptied by now the woman on the phone seemed highly unprofessional and trying to blame the Treatwell app saying they never contacted her about the booking. If someone genuine is running a business they don't wait for someone to tell them they have an appointment just constant excuses and I will not be using this Treatwell app anymore either and will be telling my family and friends because to run and advertise businesses off an app they have to be genuine reputable business they clearly have no check in place for this!

Although the threading seemed fine and I was happy enough with the overall shape at first, when I got home I realised that something went wrong which meant that there was a stain caused by the tint that extended into the gap between my eyebrows, so it was like my eyebrows carried on beyond their natural end point. I understand that the skin is stained following tinting but usually this is invisible as it's hidden by the eyebrows themselves, whereas this staining came beyond my eyebrows into the middle area, something I've never experienced before in my time getting my eyebrows tinted.
It also seemed as they were also overthreaded in the middle (which maybe explains the shape of the stain) but patchily, so I had to go back over and pluck that area again.
I appreciate that the appointment took place in a home and it is a different environment to a salon, but whilst I was there some family members came home and a loud shouting argument took place in the kitchen, which the beautician had to leave the appointment to deal with. This is obviously not ideal. I have been to appointments in beauticians' homes before and never experienced anything like that.
The beautician was polite and friendly and I am sure these things could just be mistakes and not happen again, but unfortunately I wouldn't go back.

I have been going to Maria for my treatments for a very long time now, even though I have moved out of Sheffield I keep going to her. I had tried different places closer to myself but I was never as satisfied as I was when going to Maria
She is very friendly, very approachable, a gorgeous woman who is exceptionally well at all that she does. If you want a perfect, clean, precise job then Maria is the one for you!

Maria is an amazing and beautiful woman! She is extremely friendly and I have been using all of her services for years now, no one can beat her! I travel from Manchester just to get my treatments from her as no one is as precise and makes me feel as clean and as fresh as Maria. I would definitely recommend her to all as no one can even come close to her! Thanks Maria xx
