This treatment includes traditional Abhyanga massage therapies incorporating warm herbal oil, abhyanga massage techniques and marma vital point acupressure. Marma points are anatomical areas where arteries, tendons, flesh, veins, bones and joints meet to form the location of life. Warm herbal oil is applied to the body using specific types of abhyanga massage techniques depending on the imbalance. Marma vital point therapy is done in conjunction to repair the tissues and stimulate the action of the body's vital fluids and prana to supply the structures of the body. Blockages will be released and changes in the body may occur. Ayurvedic massage is a form of body rejuvenation that encourages the body's self healing mechanism. The herbalised oil helps to balance the flow of the three doshas in the body's tissues that connect to the body's various channels. Proper flow through the channels insures your vital fluids reach their destinations, which in turn allows pranic flow to properly function to combat disease and illnesses.
During consultation we will discuss and determine your body constitution and perscribe lifestyle choices for good health according to your imbalance. Consultation is followed by treatment suggested after consultation.
