Often a patient who goes to see a “physio” is expecting a series of exercises in order to restore mobility and function. At True Motion physiotherapy is much more.
Our specialised physiotherapist has completed a wide program of studies in anatomy, physiology and pathology, and has been in close contact with patients affected by different disorders.
While the term ‘functional’ within the physical therapy and fitness industry has become a real trend, many training strategies out there still consist of the repetition of simple exercises, which try to condition single muscle groups in isolation one to the other. This type of repetition training involves tasks which are very different from the natural movement of the body, where every part integrates and moves in harmony with the others.
In order to maintain a functional approach to exercise and physical conditioning, we need to create specific environments of training/rehab which allow newly achieved skills to be transferred into everyday activities. Whether your “functional requirement” is a very physical job, a workout at the gym or a highly specific sport performance, different and unique training settings will help you onto the path of recovery and improvement.
Massage & Therapy Centre
True Motion is a physiotherapy and osteopathy clinic located near St Paul's, Mansion House and Cannon Street.
Their skilled practitioners are trained in western medical acupuncture and sports massage, and use various modes of therapy (including osteopathy, physiotherapy and sports-specific rehabilitation) to help ease both the pain and the underlying biomechanical causes of injuries.
Each session at True Motion begins with the practitioner carrying out a postural analysis. Once they have given the client a diagnosis, staff then put together a bespoke package of treatments tailored to meet their individual needs.
