1 area of Bocouture.
Over time, as we naturally age, overactive muscle movement gradually wears away the collagen in our skin, causing the skin to crease and wrinkles to appear.
Line reducing injections work by relaxing these small muscles, using the product Bocouture®. Bocouture®, like Botox®, is a injectable type of Botulinum Toxin A and is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles.Bocouture was developed in the UK in 2008 and was licensed for cosmetic use in July 2010. It is used to treat all fine lines and wrinkles that are associated with aging due to facial muscle movements. Bocouture is fast becoming the treatment of choice for many patients that have previously had botox. 'It is a presciption only treatment. I will provide you with a private prescription for this included in the price of treatment.
In general, the upper face is divided into 3 areas:
i) The forehead lines (seen when raising your eyebrows).
ii) Frown lines (Called "Glabellar"
and are seen between the eyes at the top of the nose when frowning).
iii) Crows feet / Smile lines
(seen at the outer edge of the eyes when smiling or talking).
Each area can be treated, the treatment is charged per area. You can you choose to have just one or all three areas treated. It's up to you, no pressure will be put on you to have more, it's your face so you decide what is best for you. The number of areas to be treated will be discussed at your consultation so don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want!
