Shiatsu Massage

You will enjoy:

  • Shiatsu Massage (60 minutes)

Shiatsu is a massage technique that traditionally comes from Japan and literally means 'finger pressure'. A Shiatsu therapist will first make a diagnosis based on the same principles used in Chinese Medicine. When receiving this treatment, the points being covered by acupressure are the same points used in acupuncture. It combines palm and finger pressure with passive stretching along certain energy lines called meridians.

This therapy is done on a futon (mat) on the floor, like Thai massage. It is recommended to wear comfortable and loose clothing to receive this treatment. Shiatsu promotes and improves a healthy condition both physically and emotionally. It also relieves muscle tension and pain, improves blood circulation and the function of the lymphatic system.
