My trip to Crystalise Salon was a real pleasure. It holds true that it is the little things in life that count. Complimentary champagne and fresh orange juice, not to mention a divine head-massage, really perked me up on the grey, weekday morning that I visited.
Crystalise is a small but beautiful salon, stocked full of up to date magazines and all things sparkly and pretty. In my view there is nothing more depressing than sitting in a salon and being offered a 6 months out of date, gnarled mag and then having to ask apologetically for a tap water as you stare at a peeling wall. Unfortunately when you take a risk on other independent salons offering cheaper prices than the big hairdressing chains this can be the case. Crystalise was definitely a risk worth taking!
Silvana is lovely and very chatty, I happened to be the only client when I visited and so it really did feel like a high-end personalised experience. The haircut, toner and blow-dry all turned out nicely and I even left with a free sample. I went home feeling pampered and very special.
