Beauty Agents

Nothing billed as a 'relaxing facial' should take place with a front door leading directly onto the Holloway Road just an open panel away, a bright light shining directly in your eyes and a facialist who gets up regularly to open the door to people wandering in making enquiries. The facialist tried to distract from the loud sirens and traffic noise on the main road by moving the recorded bell sounds around the tiny room as I lay there trying to keep my eyes closed with the light shining into them, but frankly that was so creepy that her movements made me wonder if she was trying to look in my handbag. She wasn't, but it was incredibly disconcerting. The treatment itself was only so-so, her comments on my skincare were offensive and judgemental, and even if they hadn't been, that fact that she stopped my facial to talk to people who just wandered in was extremely off-putting. I wouldn't go back here if she paid me. Don't go near this salon. Quite simply, she has no idea how to put clients at their ease and no interest in trying.
