Horrible experience from start to finish!! Our session was booked from 1:00-4:00 for a party of 8, upon arrival we were shown into a seating area and told they were very busy so could we wait here and help ourselves to wine and the chocolate fountain until called to go into the spa. On the table where we seated ourselves was a bottle of wine and several glasses so bearing in mind the instructions to help ourselves to wine we shared it out between us. A member of staff came storming up to us demanding to know where we had got the wine from, upon showing her the table she curtly stated this was demonstration wine and we would have to pay for the bottle, she said there was a price list next to it, which there wasn't, i took a photo of the table to prove this. On our table were confidential documents from other guests which stated among other things their addresses, and occupations - a member of our party took them to reception stating this was a huge breech in confidentiality, the staff were non appologetic and stated curtly it was ok. We waited in this cramped seating area until 1:50 when a different member of staff called olivia came to ask if we were OK. Upon telling her we weren't OK because we should be upstairs in the spa now she raised her voice to me and snapily said that's why she was here to take us upstairs. She told us she had given us our 'own room.' Upon being shown into our 'own room' we discovered it was a small treatment room, the 8 of us crammed in around the treatment bed were told this was where we had to change! We said we would prefer to get changed in the changing rooms as we were uncomfortable getting changed in front of each other and it was too squashed. Olivia told us there weren't seperate cubicles to change in there was just a communal changing room next door, we asked for lockers to put our belongings in and were told there weren't any spare so we had to leave our belongings in this treatment room with no way of locking the door, we said we had our purses and tablets on us and did not want to leave them in this room where anyone could walk in and steal them. Olivia snapped at me that she could assure me no one would enter this room or steal anything! How an earth could she assure us of this when there was no lock on the door?????? We waited in the communal changing area until a locker became free to put our valuables in, the reason the locker became free was because the woman was leaving early being so disapointed with the 'spa'. The 'spa' was so busy, you had to wait to use the facilities until there was room. The foot spa's were unhygienic, to drain the water out of them to put fresh in when you came to use it, you had to put your hand into the foot spa to pull the plug out, yuck other peoples feet had been in that water! There were never any cups by the water machine, you had to keep asking the staff for cups. The 'relaxation area' were seats in the middle of the spa area not in a seperate room so it wasn't relaxing at all. The 'aromatherapy room' was lacking aromatherapy oils, I didn't realise I was actually sat in the 'aromatherapy room' and asked someone in there where the aromatherapy room was. When it came to the end and we were wanting to get a shower we found there was only 1 shower that was in private with a lock on the door. The other shower was in the communial changing rooms, you would shower in full view of everyone coming in and out including men who would be walking past the door when a lady opens it to enter. There was only 1 hair dryer in the whole facility and that stopped working when someone was using it. Don't waste your money and time in coming here!!!!!!!!!!
