Sadly the pool is used heavily by locals. Our peace was interrupted by school swimming sessions, an Aqua gym class (loud music, packed full of retirees) and then hoards of families from 3:15. This should be made clear when booking, which it wasn't. The pool was also on the chilly side for a spa. The thermal suite rooms were good, loved the relaxation room upstairs and the lounge area (although only instant sachets of coffee available). No jacuzzi, unfortunately. The food was good, but I'd have been extremely disappointed if I had paid £15 for my meal as the portion of salmon was minuscule! I was starving again by 3:30 and there were only oranges available by that point in the lounge. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The massage was good, but not the best spa massage that I have received. Whilst it was lovely to relax upstairs in the relaxation room, you had to trail downstairs to use the pool changing room toilets - again, not fun when full of Aqua gym attendees, schools etc. Also, only one towel was given out on arrival, meaning that I had to go upstairs to request a second for a shower (having used the first by the pool edge).
