I had the 2 week Gelish pedicure with Karina. The Eyelash and Nail Lounge is in the basement of the Tanning Shop on Mortimer Street. My therapist lead me into the treatment room which was actually shared with another therapist doing lashes, separated only by a screen. The room was small and neon-lit so not exactly the most relaxing environment, it just felt very cramped. I was made to sit on an armchair and the pedicure was actually a "dry" one, i.e. no soaking in soapy water and no scrubbing as I have had before. Karina used some electric tools to get rid of the hard skin on my feet and toes rather than a hand file, not sure if they were as effective. She then tended to my cuticles and eventually painted my nails with Gelish polish. Finally she massaged my feet with some feet balm. I have no particular complaints on the treatment received, other than my heels are still quite hard. However the ambience wasn't very relaxing and I didn't feel very pampered, it was all rather clinical and not particularly luxurious. I guess you get what you pay for, I certainly wouldn't go there if I had to pay full price (which BTW is £35 and not £45 as stated on the Wahanda voucher page - I checked their price list while I was waiting!).
