As a previous happy customer for hair services at both the Covent Garden and Barbican branches of Compton, now branded as Eleven, I had every anticipation of another positive experience for manicure treatments as well. The date of our original June booking had to be adapted to accommodate some interior renovation work at the salon in late June but i received a really poilte and apologetic call from the salon manager to explain our voucher validity was instantly extended to August without penalty. Right in the heart of Covent Garden, this bright and airy salon has a location that is hard to beat for convenience & a lovely West End vibe. This booking was also a birthday treat so the cupcake theme to the manicure was specially chosen for a celebratory touch. Though we fleetingly wondered if the 'flavoured' lotions might have been designed as a slight gimmick for teens, our therapist was very personable and reassured us immediately with her knowledgeable explanations about the benefits of the products being applied. A huge selection of colours were offered and her skills to produce a beautiful finish in a delicate powder blue makes an immediate and eye-catching statement. Really, really pleased :)
