I had an aromatherapy massage at Crystal Palace with an offer and I have to say the massage was the best I have had in London, in fact I am considering going back at full price
I have to say though that the first impact was not the best (hence the 4 stars instead of the 5) and here is really an invite to potential clients not to let the front of the shop put you off: it resembles more a (low-key) nail bar than the reception of a proper spa and when I entered there were so many people that looked more like family/friends oppped by to say hi than clients that I cursed my constant search for deals.
Following the first not-so-good impact with the location and general mess I was taken downstairs by a very nice girl and there I entered the actual spa, which definitely looks and sounds (no noise) like a spa, is developped over a very big area and seemed very clean for what I could see
Moving on to the massage, strangely enough for an aromatherapy my therapist was a man, which at the beginning I found quite embarassing as I was covered just by a tiny cotton sheet, but the embarassement passed as soon as he started the massage and I realised he really knew what he wa doing, pressing the right points with the right strenght. Sometimes aromatherapy risks to be just a dip in oil but this time it was the relaxing, tension losening experience it is meant to be, definitely a find worth keeping in mind in London
