I bought a day spa for myself and my mum for her birthday on the lastminute.com deal and booked and paid for lunch there too. When we got there the girl behind the counter didn't know the meaning of customer service. She said that there had been a fire earlier and the spa would not be open that day so i would have to come back another day. Fair enough, accidents like this can happen but the way she treated us, there was no apology and she was quite rude actually. I had travelled 200 miles for my mum's birthday for her special spa treatment and lunch but the girl behind the counter didn't seem bothered at all - she actually couldn't have cared less. When asked for a refund she said that they would have to send the vouchers back to Lastminute.com so i handed my vouchers over, when I asked for a receipt she scrawled her signature on a scrap of blank paper and said it will take a few weeks for it to go into my account. Well it's six month's later and I still haven't received a refund!. I have tried calling 3 or 4 times now, only to be told that the manager will call me back....she never has! Not only did she treat us terribly, the place looked really shabby and nothing like a spa. So after the appalling service I received and the state of the place I would never go there again, actually I wouldn't go there again even if they paid me to go. Jill
