I HAD long wanted to try a floatation experience, and so was delighted to get this great deal with Wahanda as floatations can be pricey. Though the pemises are a little tucked away, on a quaint West London street, the directions were clear and got me there from the station within five minutes. The staff are friendly and warm, and gave ample advice for both first time use and follow up: this was my second visit.
I must admit the second time wasn't quite as mindblowing as the first - there is definitely an element of expectation which has to be let go of, because each floatation really is unique. The floatation area is basically a large bath filled with water and salts and enclosed within a cubicle with a door to allow access. I have tried it with and without lighting, which is operable from within the cubicle, and like no lights best, as this enabled me to 'let go' better. Despite not quite getting that wow feeling of the first time, I still emerged feeling quite relaxed, and will definitely be going back.
