The staff were very friendly. The food was really lovely. We booked for a spa day with massage and lunch from 3pm-8pm. We were told we had to have the lunch by 5.30pm. As the restaurant was upstairs, we had to get changed to go up as we didn't want to eat when we arrived, but it didn't seem right to go up in a robe as it was a separate section of the hotel that all guests or members of the public were using. You also have to pay five pounds for a robe and towel, which on other spa days I have always been given free of charge along with slippers. I didn't find the pool area as good as other places I have been, mainly due to layout. However, the food and massage made up for it.
