THE HOT TUB WAS OUTSIDE, WHICH WOULD BE LOVELY ON A SUMMER'S DAY BUT IT WAS DULL AND CHILLY WHEN WE WERE THERE. THERE WAS QUITE A LARGE AMOUNT OF SCUM FLOATING ON THE SURFACE, WHICH WE HAD TO REMOVE BEFORE WE COULD GET IN. THE PLUNGE POOL WAS EMPTY. THE STEAM ROOM SEATS WERE VERY STRAIGHT UP AND NARROW, AND WEREN'T BIG ENOUGH TO LIE DOWN ON. I HAD A GELISH NAIL MANICURE - THERE WAS NO "PAMPERING" OR CREAMS AT ALL, AND THEY HAD NO WHITE ENAMEL SO I COULDN'T HAVE A FRENCH FINISH. MY FRIEND HAD PLAIN NAIL VARNISH BUT THERE WAS A VERY LIMITED RANGE OF COLOURS TO CHOOSE FROM AND SHE THOUGHT THE FINISH WAS VERY THIN. WE THOUGHT THE AFTERNOON TEA WAS OK, BUT NOT VERY EXCITING.
ON THE GOOD SIDE, THE RELAXATION ROOM WAS LOVELY. WE HAD 2 COFFEES UP THERE, VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE TO BRING THEM AND WE DIDN'T PAY FOR THEM.
