My sister and I stayed at Hanbury Manor for our overnight Spa Day. The reception staff upon arrival were very polite and helpful, as were the staff in the spa area. We enjoyed our treatments immensely and loved lounging by the pool after our treatments drinking tea and coffee in our fluffy robes and slippers. Once our manicures had dried, we decided to hit the jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam room. The Jacuzzi was lovely and relaxing, as was the swimming pool. The sauna was probably the hottest one I've ever been in which I didn't enjoy, but I'm aware that some people like it hotter. Unfortunately, the steam room was out of action which I was quite disappointed with as I do love a steam room and we'd paid a lot of money for a 'spa day' and a steam room comes as standard I would imagine. I'm aware that these things can't always be helped and we didn't let it affect our stay. We got to our room which was lovely and to our surprise, had a big soft double bed each! We went for dinner in the evening and the food was outstanding, cannot fault it in any way. The beds were so comfortable that we slept wonderfully....until about 5.30am when the family of 4 in the room next to us started being very noisy, but this was not the hotels fault. Breakfast was lovely, with all staff being very attentive. All of the staff we encountered around the hotel were very nice indeed and overall, we had a wonderful stay.
