Can I get my eyelashes tinted or get extensions if I wear contact lenses?

Of course, as long as you do not react to the patch test (24 to 48 hours before treatment). At time of treatment you will need to remove the lenses so I would advise taking along your contact lens case to keep them safe.

You do not need to have a patch test if you are having eyelash extensions applied. This beauty treatment is not contra-indicated because none of the products ever touch the skin. I have found, in my experience, that contact lens wearers are usually able to retain the extensions for longer than usual due to not continually touching their eye area!

Providing that you have a patch test 24-48 hours prior to the treatments and you have no reaction, there is no reason why you cannot have these treatments. You would need to have your contact lenses out whilst the treatments were taking place.
