Is there a skin peel you can have that doesn't hurt / burn?

How many do you have to have before you see results?

I formerly trained doctors and nurses in medical grade chemical peel treatments before setting up my own clinic. We offer a choice of 3 treatments - Easy Phytic, Glycolic and TCA, with the latter having the strongest tingle factor but also delivers the most dramatic results the fastest. I would need to take a look at your skin before concluding which would be the best for you, but from your age and treatment requirements I would at this stage strongly suggest the Easy Phytic treatment. A combination of lactic, mandelic, salycilic, glycolic and phytic acids, the tingle factor is extremely mild but the results are excellent - brighter, tighter, smoother skin, treats blemishes and imperfections and gives the skin a healthy looking glow. It has been dubbed the red carpet facial since just 1 can be excellent before a big event. A course of 4 weekly treatments would give long lasting more dramatic results. I can't recommend this treatment highly enough - its my personal favourite. We have a clinic in London if you would like to book in for a personal consultation.

I use Only Yourx Rainforest peels and have had amazing results, if they tingle uncomfortably then they need to be taken off the skin. Getting good results from 1 peel but a course of 6 is recommended on a weekly basis for best results. These have been designed to be a relaxing experience with great results.

As a Senior Medical Esthetician with fifteen years of medical skin care experiance, I have been performing chemical peels for many years. And, I have done so on virtually all skin types and ethniticies. First of all, please understand that there are a variety of peel selections and strengths to choose from. (Assuming that these are available within one's practice, from which to chose). Examples: Lactic, glycolic, salicylic, enzymes, sensi-peels, etc. An experianced Esthetician/professional should know which peel is the appropriate choice for each individual and their skin care needs.
After a thorough oral consultation and visual examination of the skin, I actually dermaplane the skin to prepare the skin for more effective absorption of the peel itself. Also, once the skin is dermaplaned, it allows for a closer examination of the 'true skin'. What lies beneath the superficial layer?
New clients are never given a strong strength of any acid. Because I have never seen you at my practice, I nor you know how your skin will react? It is better to start with a light application rather than a more aggresive application. However, anyone that gets a chemical peel should also expect some 'tingling' or temporary light burning. (This information should be explained during the consultation). In order to recieve an effective exfoliation, there needs to be some 'sensation' felt on the skin. If you feel nothing, then the treatment has probably not penetrated. If it has not penetrated, then you have probably wasted your time and money. And, will experiance no exfoliation from the peel. Remember, the purpose of a chemical peel is to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin. In order to change the skin, or reach your desired results, the skin must be exfoliated.

Hi The chemical peel dosn,t hurt or burn only if they are not stronger in concentration.
Other peelings like enzime or pumpkin they are organics and they work in the same way to exfoliate the keratin.

Yes the best skin peel for that is the neostrata peel collection which Is only on for a few minutes and you need a course of 6 for full results. Here at ethos medical we also give you the home care kit absolutly free if you buy the couse in one purchase for top ups when you have a special night out coming up and want that extra radiant glow which is what the models and actors use for events. Speaking from personal experience I had a neostrata peel a few weeks ago just so I can answer this question honestly to my clients and I felt a tingle but no burn or pain and you see results after the first peel ( you only peel slightly so no down time like all the others on the Market) after the recommended 6 every 2 weeks you will have new skin to be proud of and maintain. Please contact me for further details and we have clinics all over London and the home counties for your treatment. Regards Alison Crook Director of Ethos Medical Ltd 0845 601 6441
