Can anyone who does gel nails let me know how popular they are?

I don't do gel nails but I've had them done several times an know they're popular! Make sure you get the technician to soak them off. Picking and peeling them off yourself will remove a layer of your nail and damage/weaken them!

Ive been using Bio Sculpture Gel for years now....excellent product but make sure the nail tech is properly trained.
All my clients have this gel....havent used acrylic for over 10 yrs now.

I had gel nails done twice. Afterwards my nails were left scratched, flaking and soft. They bent and split at the drop of a hat! My nails were strong as houses before I had this done. Does this mean the tech was not properly trained? I would love to get it done for my sons wedding but I am scared to ruin my nails for good!!

The interest in gel nails will continue to rise as we getting into 3rd and 4th generation gel nails. We are talking about gets which are as easy to remove as regular nail polish. The latest ones require no base or top coat saving time and money. I now do more gels than acrylic.
