Can anyone recommend a smoothing treatment different to the Keratin Conditioning treatment?

Treatments: Ladies' Brazilian Blow Dry

I had this treatment on board a ship, and while my hair was left lovely and smooth, I was disappointed to lose my natural kink and I now can't do a thing with my fringe. Should I have had a different treatment?
