Do all plastic/cosmetic surgeons use deep stitches below and fine stitches over top to excise moles?

Is there a difference in technique in excising stitching from a plastic surgeon vs. regular 'cosmetic' doctor? Mainly the technique I mentioned above? Any recommendations for someone in London area?
