Hi Jacquiw,
I am a Flirties-trained lash technician. I use only high quality professional products for safe and reliable treatments. Extensions are bonded to your own individual lashes which remain flexible for a perfectly natural appearance and feel and does not damage your own lashes. I use an odourless, fumeless, medical grade and safety tested adhesive to apply the lashes with.
As some other technicians have stated I carry out patch tests and full consultations for all new clients at least 24 hours prior to treatment as standard, to ensure you have no allergic reaction to any of the products used.
I am based Bow, East London (near Mile End) and have an introductory offer on eyelash extensions at present at £40 for a full-set (circa 90 minutes worth of lashes).
If you are based Central / East London and interested give me a bell on 0207 515 2603 and feel free to visit my website where I have a FAQ section regarding eyelash extensions - http://www.stylemebeautiful.co.uk.
Thanks,
Liz

Last extensions are perfectly safe, as long as you have the done by someone who has been properly trained and put in many hours of practice. I always do a patch test first to check that you do not have any reaction to the glue. Also bear in mind last extensions are not for everyone, if your lashes are really short and or sparce you just may not get the look you want.
I am located near farnham, and am offering extensions at £60 at the moment normally £75, I am a homebased salon, totally proffesional but do not have high street salon costs. have also worn lashes myself and there are no adverse effects to your own lashes.

The safest eyelash extensions are individual eyelash extensions that are placed individually, not the express style where clusters or more than one extension is attached to your natural lash. When a trained, experienced technician uses the correct extensions for your natural lashes you can live with them forever (I've had mine on for over 7 years!) with no damage to my natural lashes.
My advice is to check that the technician you choose is qualified, has insurance and has over a years experience.

Hi there,
The individual semi permanent eyelashes will not cause a reaction. Orginally it was advised that no patch test was required as the glue does not touch the skin, however recently HABIA have said that a skin patch test is required.
I actually spoke to the trainer yesterday regarding this. She has advised that a skin test should be carried out to ensure therapists are covered under their insurance, but the glue is more than like will react with the skin. So they recommend that a couple of lashes are attached to your eyelashes.
One thing you need to do is ensure your treatment is being carried out by a fully trained therapist who holds a certificate in individual eyelash extensions.
Hope this helps

Great advice thanks! I didn't even think about possibility of a reaction to the glue. Is the test carried out on the same day has you have the eyelashes? Why are only a couple of lashes attached?

We have LATISSE available at Body Silk Clinic. The LATISSE solution is the only product which really grows your own eyelashes longer, fuller and darker. It gives miraculous results. you do not have to do extensions any more to expose your eyelashes to the gel which damages the eyelash's folliculle and exhausts your own eyelashes. Plus it is time consuming. With Latisse, you need only 4 weeks to grow your own eyelashes to a maximum length and then you can enjoy beautiful eyelashes for another 2 months. You will basically need 3-4 bottles of Latisse to maintain your eyelashes at a maximum length. It is a prescription product though, so you will have to see one of our doctors to be able to get it. Have a look at our website for more information http://www.bodysilk.co.uk or give us a call 02072835800.

Hiya
There is no damage to your own lashes with lash extensions as long as they are applied by a fully trained professional and not pulled out un-naturally by yourself.
The extension falls out with your own natural lash in it's cycle causing no harm.
I have had mine on for over a year now and have many clients who are the same.
I offer a full set at £50 as I work from home and don't have salon costs. I am based in Wandsworth. I taylor each clients lashes to suit their requirements and work with their own natural lashes.
My number is 07930590319 or email stephanielashes@hotmail.co.uk if you wanted to book an appointment of discuss further.
You will love them :)

Hi, semi permanent eyelash extension are safe to wear but my advice was to have a patch test to see whether you are allergy to them before to have a full set. They last from 2-3 weeks and they are fabulous if you got short eyelashes.

PUREBEAUTYFULHAM
Hi there jacquiw. We do the eyelash extensions at our Fulham salon and I myself have had them on for 3 years, with sporadic short breaks and they have done absolutely no damage to my eyelashes whatsoever. As long as you take care of them, i.e. don't pull them out/touch your eyes constantly/comb them once a day (they are extremely low maintenance) then you will be absolutely fine.
If you did want to come to our salon then we can offer you our summer deal which is a full set of silk lashes (1hr 30mins) usually £120 for just £75.
The therapist will assess you lashes and decide on what length is best suited to your lashes and can work with you to get the look you desire.
If this interests you please contact us on 02073865686.
I hope this has been helpful.
