Had some real aches and pains in my back/shoulders and desperately needed a massage but time wasn't on my side. So this was ideal! I walked in and was welcomed in and sat in my seat pronto. My therapist asked my concerns and where I would like work done and checked the pressure was ok. I forgot to ask his name, but he was fabulous and it really hit the spots I asked at the pressure I wanted, leaving me feel a million times better in 10 minutes.
The only down fall was 11pounds for 10minutes seemed a little steep, had it have been cheaper I would have stayed longer... possibly forever! Overall very much recommend!

I was feeling sore & tight after some overly intense workouts, so decided to stop in for a 10 minute chair massage at Walk in Backrub. A very nice woman named Fiona was my massage therapist and asked me what areas I wanted her to concentrate on, which was very considerate. The massage itself was very good, but the one part which just made me completely forget my whereabouts was when she expertly massaged my neck...wow...i had those chills running up & down my head & back and it was an amazing endorphin rush. Really gave me a nice pick me up late in the afternoon, and I left feeling reinvigorated.
She also did a fantastic job on my trapezius, or the area between my neck and shoulders...

My only complaint was that the chair I was on squeaked a lot!

I saw signs that they also do facial acupressure, and also an hour long shiatsu treatment...would love to try both at some point!

I just popped in cause I needed a bit of massaging for my upper back & shoulders, and so I popped in for a 10 minute massage for just under £10 - definitely a bargain. My therapist Juan was really good - great technique when he did my upper back, but he was not great at getting my shoulders right...and he massaged my head, which i did not really want, but he didn;t really ask either! Next time I will specify I don;t want my hair / head done. But the place is easy cause you just walk in, and the massage hit the spot. Definitely worth going, and they have a buy 9 get the 10th massage free, so its also not bad on the wallet

I had been suffering from a stiff neck for two days and while walking down the street one saturday I happened to walk past Walk-in Backrub. The promise of a 10 minute massage that didn't break the bank and didn't involve getting changed and or having to wash off oils sounded perfect... and so it was.

Its not the smartest looking place I have been to but the sheer convenience of it -- no appointment, easy to choose 10 minute increments and inexpensive -- is perfect. Given the surroundings I wasn't expecting much, but as soon as I got into the massage chair I felt relaxed and I was really impressed with the therapist. He listened to where I was feeling pain and did a great job to relax that area. I walk-out a few minutes later feeling like a new man.

This place is near my office and I am definitely going to be visiting more regularly.

Hi Lopo, I used to work there, the Shiatsu sequence used at The Backrub is very effective.

Interesting... Is it a unique process that they have developed at Walk In or is this a traditional Shiatsu sequence?

Hi Lopo, the sequence is based on Shiatsu, which works on meridians using acupressure. The Backrub has perfected a routine which gives good results in a short time and then each therapist will put his/her own personality into the treatment.
