I was overall disappointed with my stay.. The food was first class and would go back for a meal, although the hotel was very tired and having stayed in other MacDionald hotels this one wasn't up to the standard.. Reception staff on check in were lovely however the spa staff ( out with the lovely girl that have me my massage) were very unhelpful and more interested in chatting to each other and socialising . My partner got a massage and the lady spoke to him the whole way through so unfortuntly he couldn't relax and enjoy, my massage was excellent however . In the spa facilities it was very musty .. On departure I was told 3 times I had to pay for several things even though I had cleared all bills as I went along . The girl tried to charge me for my accommodation and wanted to see proof before I left that I had paid.

As we live so close it was amazing how we felt so far away from home. it was so posh and romantic, very relaxing. we are wanting to go back regularly.

Excellent hotel and the food was fabulous, staff were very knowledgable about the food and drink that was on offer in the restaurant.

It was a very relaxing experience both in the spa area and in the treatment area. The steam room and sauna were good and not too busy. However they are quite small if it had been a busy time. I was slightly disappointed that it is the only spa I have been to where there wasn't at least a water machine and usually there are other soft drinks on offer for free. I had to ask for cups to use at the water fountain. The massage was the best part and it was really nice for once to be asked what kind of pressure of massage I would like.

This was a nice experience which could have been so much better. The place is really nice, facilities just right but overall let down by the staff. Firstly the treatment area looks great but staff are quite noisy, not ideal for relaxation. Staff were sorting and folding lots of toilets in small reception area, doesnt give a great impression and could easily be done out of site. My main gripe though is that we were asked what time we'd like our afternoon tea when we arrived (10am), we said 2pm which we were told was no problem. We went out at 2 but after 5-10 minutes were told there would be a delay as the scones werent ready...we'd given them 4 hours notice of when we'd like our afternoon tea! We werent offered any of the other food whilst the scones baked. Eventually we were brought our food at 2.30. So really not ideal, as i said the place is nice but the service, overall, does not match.

Experience was excellent value for money, hotel spa was modern and clean with great facilities. It was for a birthday present and they loved it, would highly recommend the experience!

Venue really nice and staff very helpful. Lunch was lovely, spa package was good value. Only downside was the spa was very busy on the day we visited and we couldn't get loungers as they all had towels on them even though no one was at them, it was a bit like being on hol - if you wanted a lounger you needed to get there early with your towel! Apart from that everything else was great.

Had a great time on a spa break at the Inchyra Hotel. Check in very efficient, with a glass of champagne sent up to our room, lovely. Room nice and clean and very spacious, with the added bonus of a fridge. Got our fluffy dressing gowns & slippers on and headed down to the spa. Pool great size for a swim, steam room, & saunas very nice. However would have liked a hydro pool. Plenty loungers for relaxing around pool and also in a separate area. Staff at the spa were very helpful and made for a very enjoyable time. Relaxation room within the spa was fantastic and has a instantly relaxing feeling.. Therapist very knowledgeable explaining all the treatments available on our offer. Ordered room service for breakfast which is well worth the additional £3.00 tray service. fantastic breakfast delivered bang on time, with the newspaper which was ordered. Totally chill out time was had by all, would definitely go back

The Inchyra facilities were excellent, particularly enjoyed the massage shower, the heated loungers and tranquility room. Was just a bit tad disappointed that we had to apply the rasul mud therapy treatment ourself, this could have been made clearer in the description.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities that were available to the guests were of high quality. We managed to get a game of tennis on the courts then afterwards take advantage of the sauna and the steam room. My favourite part was the scented shower in beside those facilities. One small issue would be the price from the restaurant. It was a top quality meal but just a touch pricey. All in all we had a great time and would recommend to friends. Thanks again.

Lovely place, lovely staff. Food was fantastic but
Drinks at bar very expensive.
Hotel lacks wifi, no areas at all, could have used it.

All in all a good day. Will go back.

Lovely hotel and spa. All staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. The tranquility room within the spa is very special and I could have relaxed in there all day long. The outlook is pleasant , surrounded by mature trees and shrubs which screen the road and allow you to forget that you're not actually in the countryside. The only downside is a lack of gardens to stroll and an indiscreet smoking area at entrance. Very enjoyable stay.

Great experience. Staff were s friendly and the hotel and spa were run very efficiently. We used the restaurant at night and the food was fantastic. Also the spa facilities were one of the best I have seen. We had a great time in the sauna/steam rooms topped off with a great facial.

The accommodation was lovely and the facilities were fantastic however we were unable to redeem our Spa treatments on the day due to there not being a suitable time available for us, 2pm was too early as we wanted to go and use the gym and sauna/steam room before having our massages. In saying that, the Spa manager was most helpful at trying to accommodate us, they have offered us two x 30 min treatment vouchers to go back and get our treatments as well as use the facilities again, a kind gesture which we will take advantage off and probably pay extra to extend our treatments, just a pity we couldn't have had it all on the same day.

Food was excellent, however the restaurant manager (lady that was pregnant) was a bit of a nippy sweetie and was quite rude when enquiring why we hadn't signed for our meal the night before. The new system for paying for meals was even, very admittedly, confusing for staff members and I felt she was implying we were trying to get away without paying for our dinner which was far from the case as we requested to pay for it that evening however we were told to sign for it and pay it upon check-out. All very confusing. On the plus side the waiting staff were very personable and professional and a credit to the hotel.

I would recommend the hotel for a break, just book many weeks in advance if you want to have your spa and stay on the same day especially if you are staying at the weekend.

The leisure facilities are more like 5 star!! you can spend hours there chilling on the heated loungers. The pool is large and you are able to have a proper swim inbetween visiting the sauna & steam room.

There is plenty of parking in the grounds . I would highly recommend the Inchyra
