Be warned, the gym has no rules or etiquette for gym members and staff do not correct any bad behaviour. So as a member you are subject many things that make your visit unpleasant at times, and the staff turn a blind eye to everything. Management don't appear to understand or care about this fundamental issue nor do they respond to feedback even if you talk to them directly or fill out their feedback forms (even if you tick the box saying you would like a response please).

For example, the gym at seems to have a bit of a boys club going on with groups hanging around the weights and weight machines talking loudly over the music and hogging the machines and weights areas. People come in late for classes disrupting everyone, the instructors actually ask you to move your mat after the yoga class has been in progress for over 10 minutes. One man regularly attends yoga class and grunts and groans so loudly the whole class is continually interrupted.

If you leave anything for a few minutes in the changing room it disappears. Staff at the desk show total disinterest.

Staff stand at the desk in the gym engrossed in something on the computer and completely ignore bad manners in the gym and dirty towels.

Membership is expensive but the facilities and choice of classes are excellent so I thought it value for money. After a time I realised I found it an unpleasant on too many occasions. One manager was rude saying I must like the gym as I've come back twice when I tried to get him to understand my issues.

I have been a member at thirtysevendegrees for nearly a year now and just recently I have seen a lot of positive changes. They have just installed new shampoo and conditioner in the changing rooms which is very luxurious. The club have a lot of new staff members and they have really stepped up their professionalism. Mo the fitness manager has got a fantastic team on the gym floor and each month I have a scheduled workout with Matthew who helps me to keep on top of my goals, the team are always helpful and play really motivating music to help you keep exercising. Sometimes I just stretch on the mats so that I can enjoy the music. The great thing is that if ever the gym floor is busy there's always a space in one of the classes which, they have a really good variety of.
I recently had a facial there as well, as a lady called Nicki approached me about the new products they have, and I must say its one of the best I have ever had, my skin now feels great!
Sometimes the pool can be really busy during kids hours, however there is always a lane free to use which I guess is the best they can do to please everyone, so I will let them off with that, so it is worth mentioning.
I would fully recommend anyone going to thirtysevendegrees for their place to relax and exercise especially as all the changes they are making look so positive for the future.

Terrible gym! I have been a member for many years now and have finally decided to leave. The staff especially cleaners, gym floor and management are rude. The gym floor is like a big boys club with lots of load music, staff doing lots of high fives and then training themselves very noisely. The female staff are no better. The cleaners particular Zana walks arounds as if she owns the place and speaks extremely rudely to members when they ask for her help or she feels you may have dripped a bit of water on the floor. Very badly managed, the management are not approachable and the staff feel they can behave exactly how they want.

As for the personal trainers I don't think they have a clue! What a waste of money. Don't join here!

These gyms have gone DOWNHILL!!! After being a member for 4+ I have finally decided to stop going to 37 Degrees Olympia. Unlike when they first opened, staff have become rude, management are invisible and it's impossible to speak to anyone, ever! Finally and most importantly the evening and weekend class schedule is terrible, and given this is a residential area, there isn't much to offer prospective members. Dirty facilities (esp pool area which has no ambience and is usually cold); rude receptionists top it off. The class instructors are really great, but most of those are freelancers, not employed directly by the gym. Many yoga classes are scheduled at the same time as a loud class next door - once the whole yoga class stopped 10 minutes into the class and walked out!! Don't bother joining, you'll get better value elsewhere, even if it's not as close to home.

My much anticipated appointment for a Guinot Hydradermie facial here got off to a wobbly start because when i arrived there was no record of my appointment which i had booked over the phone the week before. However it turned out very well for me because the therapist could fit me in anyway and i could take advantage of the 30% off promotion which i wouldn't have benefited from had my appointment been recorded.

Thirty Seven Degrees has been open at Olympia for about a year and the atmosphere and decor is functional, industrial with a few fairy lights thrown in to cosy it up a bit.

My facial was good and relaxing. The Guinot products felt lovely on my skin and as you would expect smelt wonderful. My therapist Lia was very thorough, especially on the extractions and did a bit of nice firm shoulder massage which i really appreciated. The results have been good, i emerged a fresh faced spotty teenager, but the spots are going quickly. I also felt a bit rough afterwards which i think was due to fluid being moved from where it hangs around on my jaw so i was pleased with that too.

The only thing i didn't particularly enjoy was being left to relax for 10 minutes during the facial. I know this is common practice and i am sure many people enjoy the time on their own but i prefer the therapist to stay and do a little hand massage.
