Good value - Groupon deal! Staff very friendly, the.venue was spotless. We ate.in.the.restaurant and the food was good and the.service.was excellent Good for relaxing day away
The staff were lovely, facilities were limited compared to other spas I've visited. The manicure made my hands sore and we were a bit disappointed it only included a nail strengthener. The afternoon tea was also disappointing - compared to other places I've visited, it's not a typical afternoon tea. However, we did enjoy the day overall, but not somewhere I would visit again.
I booked a 3 hr bespoke pamper package for a 40th birthday treat for my daughter and felt that the choice and description of the facility would result in the special treat I wanted it to be. Arrived at 10am with the plan of using the pool, sauna & steam room until lunch at 12.30 but where advised due to children's party the pool, sauna and steam room where not available from 11 to 12pm resulting in just 45 mins use of the facility. If we had been warned then we would have taken gym things or re-arranged the day. Result was having to sit around for most of the morning not what I had paid for and a disappointment to both of us. There was a lack of professionalism ,the therapists tried their best but were all new and either still training or just finishing training and that showed in the constant use of instruction cards, room temperatures not been correct for the treatments (having a plant wrap done and air conditioning blowing down on you making it cold) a full body massage and facial that didn't meet the standard expected - a total disappointment. On the positive the carvery lunch was excellent and good value for money. If you want something special then at the moment this is not the place to choose.

I would tell my friends that the day seemed rather unorganised. Twice we were asked to fill out a form for a manicure, despite telling staff we weren't booked for that. We were advised on the day that the pool was out of use as there was a children's party, which when you pay for the use of facilities all day, isn't great (thank you to Linda who arranged our treatments during this time). The treatments themselves were very good (except when I was burnt twice with hot stones!), however we were interrupted when another member of staff needed some slippers!
Megan is a very attentive therapist and always makes me feel welcome. I look forward to more treatment and will recommend to my friends.
